About Sigrid

Sigrid Daugaard was born and raised overseas to American and Swedish parents, experiencing life in some of the world’s most vibrant and diverse places—from the tropical, multicultural food mecca of Singapore to the castles and countryside of Scotland and the sun-soaked beaches of Western Australia. However, it wasn’t until Sigrid moved to Fort Collins, Colorado in 2001 to attend Colorado State University (go Rams!) that she truly discovered what it meant to feel “at home” in America.

Though she cherished each country she grew up in, Sigrid was surprised to fall in love with Fort Collins, a place she has called home for over two decades. For those familiar with Fort Collins, you understand—it’s a special community nestled at the base of the Rocky Mountains, offering great weather, a close-knit community, and a vibrant outdoor lifestyle. It also happens to cater perfectly to one of Sigrid’s favorite pastimes: spending time with her family, cooking, and enjoying delicious food paired with great beer. For her, Fort Collins embodies everything she loves.

Sigrid is married to her husband, Soren, and together they have two daughters, Stina and Johanna, along with their Boston Terrier, Vinny. It wasn’t until she met the Daugaard family that she realized how much she longed for roots. The Daugaards have deep ties in Fort Collins, with Soren’s extended family spanning five generations and over 40 first cousins. Their family gatherings often draw over 100 people, especially at Christmas!

Sigrid entered the financial services industry in 2007 and earned her CFP® designation in 2012. She and Mitch formed their partnership in 2010. Driven by a passion for helping others, Sigrid takes pride in guiding clients through financial decisions that lead to security and freedom, fostering trust and building long-lasting relationships along the way.

Known for her collaborative, empathetic, and solution-oriented approach, Sigrid enjoys working with interesting people to help solve problems. She thrives in team environments, as evidenced by her strong collaboration with her clients’ centers of influence. She believes in building meaningful relationships through active listening and clear communication, ensuring she understands her clients’ needs and concerns.

Resourceful and always seeking creative, practical solutions, Sigrid is patient, open-minded, and genuinely motivated to help others succeed. These qualities make her an invaluable asset in roles requiring teamwork, problem-solving, and client-focused service.
