About Mitch

Mitch was born in Alaska and moved to Western Nebraska during middle school, where he later graduated high school. After earning a bachelor’s degree in business management and a minor in Finance from the University of Wyoming in 2002, Mitch began his career in financial services. In 2005, he moved to Fort Collins, and it instantly felt like home. Mitch had spent much of his childhood in Fort Collins, visiting his grandparents who lived there. His grandmother graduated from Fort Collins High in 1949, and his mother was part of the first graduating class from Rocky Mountain High in 1974. Now, his daughter is set to follow in their footsteps, continuing the family’s legacy as a third-generation Fort Collins resident raising the fourth. Perhaps that’s why our office in Old Town, built in 1880, feels so comfortable—it’s filled with history, much like Mitch’s connection to the area.

Mitch is married to Haley, and they have two children, Reese and Adler. A true outdoorsman, Mitch loves spending time in the mountains and has summited all of Colorado’s 14,000-foot peaks, with no plans of stopping anytime soon. His daughter is eager to start her own 14er journey, a prospect that excites—and slightly nerves—Mitch. Beyond mountain climbing, he also enjoys trail running, mountain biking, and rafting Colorado’s rivers.

As the founder of Mountain Wealth Management, Mitch is a visionary wealth manager with a strategic, big-picture approach. He’s not just focused on numbers—he understands that true wealth management encompasses every facet of his clients’ lives, from investments and retirement to legacy planning and personal goals. Mitch’s holistic perspective allows him to craft comprehensive strategies that address immediate needs while ensuring sustainable growth and long-term security.
